My heart in the sea

How long do i have to stand
On the sand that carries your print.
I have written my love song on it
But the wave came and took it away.
Now my words are lost in the sea
Flashed by the tears of Poseidon.
How the waves can be cruel
And the wind cold as grave.
Carrying my love south and north
My Heart in the sea.

"How the waves can be cruel
And the wind cold as grave."

I really like this.
I think you could add more to it if you wanted.

Will you set sail torwards those turbulent waters,
and reclaim what the sea hath taketh?
