In the depths of my mind
The part that remains unspoken
Lies so many thoughts about you
Ones that can’t be broken
Hollowed out heart
Beginning to fill in
One look at you and my soul starts shining.

I’m no longer scared of myself
Many months I’ve disengaged the fear
So comfortable within my chamber
Growing bolder with every year

And I’m sure it’s one of those moments in time
Where the path just takes you to the heart of gold
In your mind so wise and so strong
for a nineteen year old

heroic
mental and physical lacerations
all the battle scars
used to perfect every single one of your creations

something quite addictive
constantly feeling the crave
people show their emotion upon their face
on yours I see brave.
