Heart – beautiful, yet fragile like a chandelier,
Mind – imprisoned, possible horrors refuse to disappear,
Eternal life, if only we could be so clever,
Only to feel, each increment of forever,
Each of us dies right here, the mere thought sends a shiver,
Ants in a sea of greed, all searching for that one special giver,
If god exists it's sadistic and bored, giving free will to creation,
Disease and murder unnecessary, all to support its constant inebriation,
Toys for its enjoyment, to have complex minds of our own,
Alive to realize it all ends, pitiful this sliver of existence we are shown.
