Chaos: The knowledge doesn't lessen the pain
Sorrow: It's almost something you don't want to be true
Sorrow: You want to be wrong.
Chaos: You fight against it.. tell yourself it isn't true
Chaos: There has to be a way, you can't love someone that much for that long and not get to be with them
Chaos: It just isn't right..
Chaos: But it's true. And you may not
Sorrow: It haunts you
Chaos: Torments you
Sorrow: Day in and day out it kills you
Sorrow: I know that pain
Chaos: As do I
Chaos: I've learned to take some enjoyment in the pain in my heart
Chaos: The swift tightness in your chest
Chaos: the feeling of your heart almost stopping
Chaos: focusing on the physical pain keeps me sane...
Sorrow: There is nothing wrong with this
Chaos: I wanted to be happy once, then I wanted death, now I only want peace
Sorrow: Happiness is often over before we even knew we had it. Death is comfort while it lasts. And peace never comes for those that forsook it.
Chaos: I know
Sorrow: Darkness isn't something to be hidden. It's part of your soul, just like the light, just more raw and full of anguish, anger and pain.
Chaos: I embrace the darkness just as much as the light.
Chaos: But I try very hard to protect that light.
Sorrow: Sometimes doing the right thing is hard, when people seek to take advantage of you for it, or ridicule you for it.
Chaos: Too many people don't know how to be selfless.. to know what it truly means to sacrifice your own happiness, well being and life for another.
Chaos: Instead of taking your kindness for what it is. They take it for weakness.
Chaos: There can be no weakness where love exists, the very act of loving takes strength
Sorrow: Because I am never stronger than when I am hurting.
Understanding
An indepth look at chaos and sorrow; caused mainly by inconsiderate people. The poem is good especialy explaining the hurtfullness some people feel the need to aim in life, which is a great weakness. It also explains the considerate persons strengths in loving relationships very well. I like your poem very much.
