False

What is self? Oneself should not say

The thing one believes themself to be

Is elusive as dreams, intangible as spirit

Are one's most sincere words more true than that which one does?

For words, even unspoken, are the only things which can lie

I think, therefore i am false

All else is true simply by Being

The thing one ought fear most is self

Self is anger, desire, sloth, and stubbornness.

Self bows to the will of none but its own

Thus one is ever bent, a slave to self.

Serve the self and be king for a lifetime

Deny the self and become sage of eternity

Such a deep and shrouded

Such a deep and shrouded truth. Whatever others may say or see, counting even our estimation, the self IS. Now to bring the thought to the concept of id, ego, and super ego. Much to mull about here. Thanks for sharing.
