I don't know anymore

crashing down, my life is crashing down. Into the abyss with my emotions. Drown me in the depression. Suffocate me with the darkness. Show me why I need to be here. Do I belong? Do I need to exist? Do I deserve to be loved? I need friends who will be there for me like I am for them. I am used up and thrown away. Like a tissue or a teddy bear. I have no pre-nup with these feelings. They came with baggage and they are staying here to bring me down. And if they leave I'll still be stuck with the baggage. This isn't a poem, nor is it a prose. It's a cry for help. A friend in need. A lost soul wandering the deepest darkest depths of clinical depression. Am I human anymore? What is happiness? Joy? Envy? Lust? All I know is anger and pain. When do I get to feel? When do I get to exist again? Is there a cure for the virus that I am? Does anyone feel like I do? Am I alone?

This isn't just creative writing. I am asking seriously. If you feel these words like I do, if you see the pain...I don't want to be alone anymore...

the circle of life

And by the way, I’ve read all your works. You have incredible potential my friend.

Let it shine. And be that light you are meant to be. There is pain in all of us. Don’t let it define you. But instead, be the one to define yourself. We all get lost in the muck of this world – but don’t leave yourself there. Dig for your true identity, dig furiously if you have to. Lift a little shovel full each day. Make it a daily goal, to lift that little shovel each day. And before long, you will uncover what you are looking for… and then, help others do the same. For that my friend, is the circle of life.

Forgive me for intruding on

Forgive me for intruding on the conversation, but this is one of the wisest pieces of advice I have read in a long, long time.
