When giving your all there's no question to why the heart aches
Why the heart breaks and or tears
Pressure over time leads to muscle decline
What is love but a process refined through time
Done over and over until it's done right
Endured like winter, bright like summer,
Cleansing like rain, loud as thunder
What is love but a bringer of peace
Refreshment of the mind when the body's been sleep
Renewed faith in the Lord and the courage to leap
But knowing we must fall because love is deep
What is love but a answer to life's mystery
Always around but hidden in clouds of misery
Constantly searching and making its way
But scared to comment because of past mistakes
What is love but a whisper
Soft, gentle and full of allure
Mistaken for insatiability because we often want more
Satisfied plus pure
Self sustained and the ultimate reward
What is love but a door
A choice to be made
Inherit, first thought by parents
A seed grown after another planted
Simple in the way that the Lord had commanded
Love is a friendship, love is a thin line
Love is a process, love is a bringer
Love is a answer, love is a whisper
