Keeping up with the news today

Is something that tends to depress me

I think back to a time when I'd say

'Here's a man who does impress me'

He never was charged with sexual harassment 

Never looked upon as a national embarrassment 

Criticized by some as being too cautious 

He knew how to speak without making me nauseous 

Never found guilty of committing fraud

Or profiting from business deals, here and abroad 

I can't recall any kind of scandal

Not like today, have more than we can handle 

Of course, there was the time, who can forget?

He wore a tan suit, a national disgrace to some? You bet!

A leader, who in many ways, dealt with being the first 

Unlike the one we have now, who in every way's the worst 

Our current leader has his own cologne, how nice he must smell

The B.O. is gone as he leads this country to hell

Think I'm exaggerating? You think that he won't?
