Back in the day Jack
There once was a waitress named Kate
Who found herself in a terrible state
Very agitated
Could've negotiated
But she didn't cause she couldn't wait
Kate was working in a diner
In either North or South Carolina
It could have been either
It may have been neither
The difference isn't major, it's minor
One day some folks came in to eat
Kate gladly showed them to a seat
They sat in a booth
Could they handle the truth?
The list of 'daily specials' wasn't complete
The man wanted Kate to break the rule
But Kate had no patience for this fool
He said 'Add to my order an extra pickle, hon'
She said 'For an extra pickle we charge you a nickel, son'
He got upset, so did Kate, hit him with a stool
When I say the word 'stool', I'm not referring to feces
If I was, the violence surely increases
Kate told him 'Hit the road Jack!
If you ever come back
I'll break your ass into five easy pieces!'
