A door story

The story of a door

Who wouldn't remain open

Like everyone was hopin'

They all would scream and shout

'Open up and let us out!'

But the door was unable

Wasn't emotionally stable

Almost became unhinged

Everybody cringed

The door went to a shrink

Who said 'Here's what I think

You are a door

Who must be adored

You need lots of affection

Can you make the correction?'

The door thought it would be able

To lay its feelings on the table

Isn't that a door able?

What a story! Glad I'm sending

You home with a happy ending?

Not so fast, the truth I'm bending

It's something I can't get past

Want to inform you all at last

The door who thinks it's so cute

Faces a problem more acute

Its biggest problem yet, by far

The door has now become a jar

The End
