I knew a young woman named Sue
If there was one thing about Sue we knew
It wasn't a no or a maybe
Yes, she wanted to have a baby
The whole world needed to know too
People would say to Sue
'Sure this is something you want to do?
Being a single mom's hard today
Can you handle everything ok?
Sue would say 'Yes, I really want to!'
Sue was so anxious to have a child
She did something many thought wild
Called her reviled ex-husband Jack
Begged him to come back
Needed his seed, so they reconciled
A year later, Sue gave birth, whoop-de-doo!
Your wish came true, how happy are you?
But it didn't take long
To see something was wrong
What was the matter with Sue?
Men don't have women's intuition
So I asked, Sue confirmed my suspicion
A baby, she wanted one, true
But she didn't want one, wanted two!
Wanted two, got one? Check your addition!
