I WAS A GOD

I was a God

Conjuring people and places

From thin air

No detail too small

For my invention

No landscape too vast

For my paints

And, Oh!  What colors!

What visions in the middle

Of the night!

What noble intentions

On the plight of man!

And they called me a writer
