COMFORT IN THE STARS
In troubled times as these
I like to step outside
In the middle of the night
To study the moonless sky
I take some comfort in the stars
For they are at a safe distance
At least for now

Hhhmmm...yet again, your poems leave me with food for thought. The last two lines of this poem is most striking... and yes, i wonder when will the stars NOT be at a safe distance to us .
