When night turns to light, we open up our eyes,

and say hello to bright sunny skies.

Who knows what the day has in store,

our lives can change in a moment, as we open up the door.



When night turns to light, and we think about before, yesterday's problems just don't seem so bad anymore.

It's a new day and we must start anew,

there's always something out there that we have got to do.



When light turns to night and we turn off the lights,

we just close our eyes and hold on tight.

Such a whirlwind that we faced during the day,

laying here in peace & tranquility is where I wish to stay.



When light turns to night and we drift off to dreams,

the only light outside comes from the moon's gentle beams.  The kids and I have fallen asleep fast,

we will once again awaken when the night has finally passed.



When night turns to light, once again, it's a new day.

Though today isn't sunny, it's miserable-- dark & gray.

It looks like rain, but don't you dare fret,

for the troubles we have today we will soon enough forget.
