Before September Eleventh:



Heroes were cartoon characters

with supernatural powers.

New York's skyline was defined

by two twin towers.



The states were united,

but the people were not.

Many terrorists were running rampid,

but not many were being sought.



After September Eleventh:



Our heroes are now the

military, police, firemen and EMTs,

Where two proud towers once stood,

is now filled with sad memories.



Our states have united once again,

We have come together as one,

Day and night we're fighting terror,

We won't stop until it's gone.
