A pain you can't imagine,
A sorrow never felt.
To lose a trust so true
Your tears begin to melt-
They melt away your soul
'Til numb is all you feel.
You'll watch your life so passively-
This wound will never heal.
Your life is pouring out,
Exposed for all to see.
All you want is darkness, solitude:
They will never let you be-
Let you be the things
You dreamed you could before.
Let you be a friend, in love - alive.
Those dreams are nevermore.
