Would you speak in riddles and rhymes,
As great minds often do,
Or tell me of nirvana and how i can get through,
Or sit and weep oblivious to this tactile horoscope,
That tells of but a feeling but not all that it evokes.
Where is the sense in silence,
When your voice it goes unheard?
And you vanish from existence,
Along with all that you have learned,
Who do u seek to please?
When you placate the ones you love,
With promises of happiness,
And treaures from above.
The philosophies of thinkers,
Construct the world in which we live,
They realised that words,
Were really all they had to give.
The philosophies of thinkers,
Construct the world in which we live,
They realised that words,
Were really all they had to give.
I thought this verse was one of brutal honesty. And I this thats really what poetry is about. Brutal Honesty. Very good poem. I really liked it. -JM
