Sun kissed by heavens light,
Lifted up by a dreamers beauty,
Silenced by a drifters thoughts,
And put to peace by a love long gone.
Wishing on a memory that has faded into nothing,
Holding onto the pasts regret,
Sipping softly the coffee of life,
Until tomorrow may be our end.
Touched the nose of a new born child,
In years our pride and joy,
Watched an elderly man take his last breath,
A love left to grow no more.
New lives being embraced,
And old lives since long forgotten,
The past torn up by this place,
But a new love soon to be renewed.
A life has since long been dreamed of,
And a fantasy keeps playing on,
The thoughts of tomorrows future will embrace us,
Tomorrow starts at mornings next dawn.
