You have that one best friend-

That always tends to argue.

He won’t agree with you-

Even when you’re right.



You have that one best friend-

That never calls at all,

All he does is smile-

When you pass him in the hall.



You have that one best friend-

That promised he’d never leave you-

But then high school came along-

And we went our separate ways.



You have that one best friend-

That you just faded away from-

You know his whole life story-

And still you’ve got his back



But still you have that one best friend-

That knows everything about you-

And even if you never talk-

He’s still there if you need someone to lean to.
