Ha ha ha
The joke's on you
I can act like I'm all pissed off
And I know you'll come running
Blurting apologies
Shedding useless tears
Well, I don't need your crying
But it's kind of a funny spectacle
You are so blind
Begging for forgiveness when
You never did anything!
Ha ha ha
The joke's on you
I can feign the heartache
And you're the one who's really broken
You'd give me your attention in a second
Such a slave, obeying my every whim
Who ever said mind control couldn't be fun?
I control you like you're my own little puppet
And I could toss you away any moment
But you'd still come crawling back
Asking what you did wrong
Well, ha ha ha
The joke's on you
And isn't it such a funny one, too?
I can tell you as I read this I became totaly furious. People like that make me want to puke, I know plenty of them, and more than less are my friends. I really liked this poem because it's cool (and so unique) for it to be written from someone other than thew victims POV. Great Job!
