Simply Stated

You are the splendid in magnificent,

in praised admiration I wonder

how your invincible walls before you

were triumphed and torn asunder.

You are the perseverance in patience

with boundless capacity to endure,

the nuts and bolts to our table,

binding emotive-notes with ligature.

You are the generosity in magnanimity,

spiritually understanding mastermind,

beautiful well merited daisy;

teacher of condign.

You are the sincere in genuine,

a scale to ten; an eleven,

devinely created with perfect flaws,

your tags inscribed, "made in heaven".

Yet you are the meaning in one word

than what is more simple than above.

You are the portrait of a mother,

you are the commitment in love.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Sometimes when you try to describe your own mother, it seems there is only one word that truly describes her best, "LOVE".  They understand pieces of us we never knew existed.  "You were everything that a mother was supposed to be and even more so today.  I love you, moma".
