made to sleep with stars

i choose to sleep because i choose to be in a happier place. of sound mind and strong character. holding the only heart, my own. i wish to be loved so that there is no other adventure but my own. i wish for an ending only sold in stores written from the fingers of only the loved we see in movies. prefected by the tears of an audience. my formula made a thousand endings worth the wait of the tale. in this life, i've found no ending suitable of my willing breath, but i will stay up this night and everynight casting off my happy slumber to wish on dim stars...

...stars that if i am to honor with every blissful nighttime event, would with honesty and light, bring my humbeling love to me. if i wait one moment or every year till i can wait no longer, the stars will love the black sky with me.

that day when my happy sleep returns forever i will attach myself to every memory of sleepless nights and comfort my new tomorrow with a promise that every today was what it was...

and that my life was not just a prelude to death, but it was love. and more love then for just one person, but for a world without, and a slumber within...

12-10-03 i really have nothing to descibe this poem. it was a feeling. these words were the only way to describe that feeling.

Wow. That's a strong sentence. A pang.
