add a day tomorrow

i want to fall asleep

and never wake up with you

i want you to be

closer

             to

                        further away

                       then ever before

i can't let your tears

become my pool of sorrow

you lived your life to comfort me

but you'd drown me

in the first chance to cry

my head doesn't

agree with my heart

anymore

it's a constant battle

over

you

i don't want sadness

but i don't want

you

so stop

making me so happy

i need this time to think about my life

not how you made me smile

i wrote this on August 4, 2003. i found it in my journal today when i was saddened by the fact that it's almost filled up... times are changing, i will go too.
