Once upon an almost time

in never never land

t'was a balmy summer evening

with 'Whozits' dancing in the sand

and 'Thingabobs' were prancing

round a pink and purple stream

and 'Norks' were lying in the grass

enmeshed in fairy dreams

And then there came an awful noise

like the sound of marching feet

and all the 'Blurps' came marching by

down that red and sandy street

and their pointed ears were sticking out

as if they heard a sweet refrain

but the only thing that came about

was a mist of purple rain

don't know where they were going

don't know where they had been

but they were a silly looking bunch

with their blue and purple fins

Then the 'Knackets'came to town

with red eyes stuck up on points

with yellow patches on each arm

around their elbow joint's

then there came a bunch of things

I think they call them 'Hurkles'

their skin was scaley like a fish

and toenails were golden circles

then the 'Squidgets' came dancing by

as happy as could be

and each one winked his big pink eye

and tipped his hat at me

So with my claws all sharpened  up

and cleaned to palest blue

 I clawed my way atop the hill

to get a better view

And then I felt an awful jolt

a big gigantic bump

then I stretched and opened up my eyes

for I had just woke up
