How many times can I tell you

how many times do I dare

do you know how many years that I've loved you

and how much I really care

If I told you, I think it would scare you

and you'd run away from my side

how many hours have I called on your name

and for just as many, I've cried

how many hours are there in a life time

how many stars are in space

well that is the time it would take to forget you

for there are some things that time can't erase

how many seconds are there in forever

as I gaze into deep blue eyes

and the heart in my chest would stop beating

before I could ever deny

how many times can I hold you

how many times do I dare

how many eons is eternity

for that is as long

as I will always hold you there
