Oh so sweet, the smell of jasmine
that comes wafing through the air
beautiful white confederate jasmine
blooming every where
Running up and down the fence line
growing pel mel up the tree
spreading in such great confusion
growing wild and free
Flowers of purity and glory
placed on earth by God above
sent by heaven to seduce me
and wrap me in His holy love
Slender vines with trendiles running
bloomig in the morning mist
pure and white confederate jasmine
flowers that God has kissed
Oh once again to see it's beauty
that in wild confusion grow
once again to taste the nector
as gentle southern breezes blow
Oh if I could once more see it
jasmine growing by the gate
to smell the scented beauty of it's blossoms
once more before it is too lae
I could almost smell the
I could almost smell the Jasmine scent. Beautifully written and crafted and very good rhyming. This poem is an enjoyable read.
