If I could touch your hand once more

such comfort it would bring

 If I could see your smile again

it would be eternal spring

If I could be with you tonight

it would be my dream come true

if I could see your sparkling eyes

so clear and sparkling blue

If life with you could come again

my heart aches would be through

My life would be worth living

and all my dreams come true

if I could hold you in my arms

just one more time again

I'd hold you tightly in my heart

oh such a precious thing

if all my dreams I ever had

would all come true tonight

they'ed be all of you

my heart would be so pure and light

and all my sorrows few

but you have crossed the ocean wide

to some eternal shore

and I'm left with only memories

of precious things that were before

I only see your precious face

placed in a silver frame

I see you looking back at me

and my soul bows down in pain

you went away a year ago

and I know you can't return

your sweet love was all I ask

and it makes my sad  heart  yearn

It's so lonely here tonight

and I need your tender touch

my heart is warm, you're with me now

and I love you, oh so much

but some glad day, we'll touch again

and you can fly with me

in  heavens blue, with angel's wings

for all eternity
