I'd like to ride o'er the vales of the earth 

thru the ocean's blue green mist

and to see the visions of pure delight

that the stars and the moon have kissed

I'd love to ride on the wings of the wind

high o'er the flowering land

and to pick a cluster of moon beams bright

that I can hold in the palm of my hand

I'd like to move like the silent tide

always going too and fro

and to visit places of make belief

where I know I will never go

for my mind is an ever evolving thing

and I never know what I'll see

be  it gods or goddesse's or unicorns

or things that will never be

I'd like to fly on the wings of a giant bird

and go some place sweet and fair

and travel to times that have never been

in the land of I don't know where

I'd like to creep through the bowels of the earth

and to see just what I'd find

and I'd crawl always, to the other side

 in the mysteries of my mind

Today I roamed through the universe

in my chariot of flaming fire

and I rode to the ends of the galaxy

and my venima went higher and higher

today I walked on a sparkling path

called the place of all my dreams

 today I watched in my own minds brigh eye

the world's old and mysterious things

today in my mind, I will ride through time

and soon I know I'll be there

to see the things that have never been

in the land of I don't know where

now I ride on the back of a fire fly

to the place where all visions unfold

and I'll see great things that are yet to be

wild and glorious to behold

today is so awesome, today is so grand

almost more than I can bear

as I whisk myself toward the west

to the land of I don't know where
