When I look into your eyes,

I see my own reflection looking back at me.

I see a happier person than I used to be.

Your eyes show the truth,

They never express a lie.

The truth is, your eyes brighten my day until we say goodbye.



Each time we depart,

I feel an emptiness in my heart.

As I say goodbye,

My eyes begin to cry.

I wait for the day I will see you again.

While you're away, I think of everywhere we'll go and everywhere we've been.



When I see you again, the emptiness fades away.

I close my mouth to kiss your lips, yet there's so much to say.

I have no problem expressing to you how I feel.

My love for you is so strong, so true, and so real.



When I told your hand, I hold it with pride and I hold it tight.

I'm so proud of you baby and I know what you're doing is right.

It's right for you, it's right for me.

Our future is bright, just wait and see.



We've shared so much together yet there's still much more ahead.

We've expressed our feelings out loud, but there's so much more to be said.

There is never enough time in the day to do everything we want to do and say everything we want to say.
