lucky girl
I've never been much of anything
I feel like a failure, if that
My grades don't reflect my intelligence
and as a girl, i sometimes think I'm fat
My siblings and I bicker quite often
and my mom and me never agree
But if I take the time to think about it
I start to see the good, in the life of me
I have the ability to love greatly
and the strength to smile when I'm sad
I have some of the most amazing friends
who I know always have my back
At first glimpse, I may seem pathetic
and maybe a little lost in the world
But I've found and seen the real me
and I'm a pretty lucky girl
