instead of asking for my number

you make me feel smart

when i cant get any dumber

you help solve my problems

when they dont include you

you tell me to confide

instead of whispering a shoo

not only do you think i'm cute

but you love my personality

when i feel afraid of life

you let me forget about painful reality

you talk to me so calmly

when others are just rude

i can speak freely around you

and not wait to be cued

you make me feel safe

instead of making me scared

you listen when i talk

when you could pretend i wasn't there

you're the best ever

and you know that its true

i dont know whered i'd be

if i'd never met you!
