i remember that first look in your eyes
thinking i would be fooled by your lies
nobody ever seemed to undstand you
truth was nobody even knew
you hide behind your tears
with the dreaded cuts and fears
feeling empty and alone
until i made u feel at home
i took your hand and showed you the way
dont u remember that day?
i was your only friend
to help your heart mend
i saw right through you
which you didnt think i could do
your transparent soul
it was so cold
till i got a hold
i made u smile
but everyone once in a while
then u slipted away
dont u remember that day?
walking around
everthing so sound
feeling so alone
thinking i would never know
where u were nobody knew
until i looked up and saw you
my heart skiped a beat
now that u were at the presence of my feet
your arms wrapped around me tight
feeling like everything was going to be alright
ur warm lingering fingures playing with my hair
while you wispered in my ear
the words "i love you"
had finally had a meaning
while my whole face was gleaming
falling asleep in each others arms
pearing into each others souls
skin to skin
nose to nose
i felt the rush in my veins
knowing i was now sane
with you finally in my embrace
nobody could of taken your place
our love was going so strong
laughing with a smile that could go on for a mile
you were so silly
it felt so right
until that night..
do you remember?
all those memories like i do?
i sure as hell miss you
but you have no clue
for me they still play in my head like they were new
never did that smile leave my face
now feeling the absence that takes you place
at night i think and wonder if we could of lasted any longer
we were one of the same
just with two different names
my best friend..
but it came to an end
the smell of your cigarrett breath
with your sweet smelling cologn
and the gentil kiss that said it all...
