A prisoner to this blade,
I will forever remain.
Giving in to these urges that cut at my flesh.
Leaving behind scars that will never fade.
Yet hoping for the day,
when I will be freed from this blade.

You will be freed from it one day...it happened for me. Just don't give up. It can't keep you a prisoner if you don't allow it to.
I compeltly get the comparsion of being a Prisoner to it !!! Great job writing
