Maybe, I’m just meant to be alone

All the things that I’ve seen

All my life has shown

Maybe, I just don’t deserve

How I’ve lost my grip

How I’ve lost my nerve

Maybe, now I should just go

I don’t belong here

But nowhere to go

Maybe, I don’t know what I’ve done wrong

You seemed so happy

I was fooled all along

Maybe, I don’t know what I’ve done right

To keep you here with me

Am I losing this fight?

Maybe, I don’t know what I should do

To make you want me again

To make me hold you
