Its morning, a year ago, the sun has risen

You were my vision,

My lust, my ambition.

I loved you, I breathed you

I had to be near you

Nothing mattered anymore

You were my hearts galore.



It was midday,

The month was may.

I could see a future, a life

Soon we’d be going through strife

But I want you by my side

We both know I’ll disappear with the tide.



A year has gone now,

The sun is setting,

A year of absolute happiness,

That you’ll be forgetting.

I loved you once, I love you still

Its in my hand, that painless pill.



The sun has set,

My life is dark,

I sit alone in our favourite park.

We’d swing, we’d slide, we’d play around

You’ll never know, this new pain ive found.

It feels heavy, like I have no meaning

What is this emotion that I’ve been feeling?

Its like love but has no middle,

I miss you, I love you, I’ll never forget you

your my heart, your my sole,

Now you’ve left, my life’s a hole
