my bones they ache with pain
my heart is scared of the rain
night turns cold and shadows turn
but deep inside is where it burns
You said
I made you alive
I came here to die
I made you alive
and in My name
you'll survive
my tears they turn to dust
my gold it looks as rust
but through Your strength i find peace
a sweet harmonic release
You said
I made you alive
I came here to die
I made you alive
and in My name
you'll survive
the pain it finds it's way again
but soon i know my heart You'll defend
cuz i am Yours now and always
please remind me of Your grace
You said
I made you alive
I came here to die
I made you alive
and in My name
you'll survive
You said
I made you alive
I came here to die
I made you alive
and in My name
you'll survive
you'll survive
cuz I made you alive
This is fucking beatiful! I think you must be quite deep, there's a lot of darkness and torment in this poem which was exactly what I was feeling the very moment I read it, and so i thought i'd make a little comment about it. No offence but the vast majority of poems written by women on this thing suck balls, also the vast majority of the men's poems too i guess. I particularly liked "my heart is scared of the rain...night turns cold and shadows turn" and my gold it looks as rust" but the best line "you said i made you alive, i came here to die" is so beautiful and with every repition it brought a tear to my eye. thank you and be happy :)
