everything adds to the rain

i'll stand outside all night

while the wind takes hold of my clothing

which is soaked and clasping so tight

but the numbing has started to fasten

and my dancing has not dared to stop

for the puddles that i will keep splashing

will get rid of each worrying thought

you could come dance if you want to

next to me, we can dance in the street

while the rain covers our tear drops

and the puddles soak up our feet

it's not the pain we are feeling that matters

with each other, it makes our hearts smile

because friendship will always for certain

make the rain light for awhile
