For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. . . . they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
These are the words of the Apostle Saint Paul in the thirteenth chapter of his Epistle to the Roman Christians.
I would think this, and any other applicable Scripture, bears far more weight than quoting the Deist Thoas Payne's plagiarism of a quotation from Voltaire; Payne having applauded, and possibly incited some of, Robespierre's use of the guillotine, in Framce, as a means of terror, even to the decapitating of adolescents because of their family connections. Payne is a pain, like Robespierre was. I prefer the advice, fellowship, and guidance of my Christian eder brother, The Apostle Saint Paul.
I would suggest that the assertion that this election, or any other in the history of this country, is outside God's Will is blasphemous and sufficient evidence of reprobation undto damnation.
