Brethren, our precious fellowship was scattered
two years and eight months after my conversion,
Some moved away, by work's necessity;
and some few, having been unfairly battered,.
departed through verbal, vernal coercion--
itself a sordid sin and blasphemy
(which faithless had given entrance to slip
among us). Like those led to other places
after Stephen was murdered, we have borne
the Gospel of our Lord's plan of Salvation
across the length and width of this great nation.
Apart, for now, during this separation,
we will, someday, rejoice to see the torn
mended by our Lord, Whose amazing Grace's
unceasing care is our sufficiency.
He will, in His time, bring to restoration
the redeemed who are the great congregation,
who shall not be lost in the last conflagration,
and whose souls will rejoice in supreme exultation:
the joy of the Common Salvation
in eternally infinite jubilation.
Starward
