"To thee particularly and to all the Volsces
"Great hurt and mischief . . . ."
---William Shakespeare, Coriolanus, IV:5
You are the star that represents damnation,
Lake Fire (forever seething conflagration)
and all things hellish---all contamination
that God removes from His great congregation,
that multitude redeemed into Salvation.
Your evil never finds least mitigation;
it is, instead, the fullest demonstration
of your nature's collection and collation
of hatred---and its horrors, and their shames
expressed in multitudes of lingual games.
Your words are a pretense to Poetry;
and, of that Art, a stinking travesty;
but this will not intrude on exultation
when we have entered Love's eternity.
