Grandparents' meadow:

crickets still chirp---despite chills

as summer ends.  My

joys, there, remain---despite school,

with bullies there, tomorrow.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Despite my fears of bullying, at school---from Monday morning through Friday afternoon, each and every week through the school year---I always felt joy, and a safe security, at my grandparents home, and in their wildflower meadow, which always seemed to last in summer profusion until mid-Autumn.
