+ 27.225 MHz: Poem That Came To Me As I Began To Pray KJV Psalm 35, Especially Verse 3

Lord:  say to my soul, I am your salvation.

I pray that this shall always be our conversation,

that it may be my soul's chief joy and exultation,

to which these poems shall bear witness in jubilation.

Let those words banish from me all fear and consternation,

and the wagging tongues that ever declare damnation.

Lord, I long to enter Heaven, and praise you as Revelation

declares, to us who read it aright, the Liturgy of Praise

to You:  Undivided Trinity, Bright and Morning Star, and Ancient of Days.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The first line quotes KJV Psalm 35:3; the verse which inspired it.  The poem also alludes to Psalm 35:9, 1 John 4:18, Revelation 22:16 (my favorite verse in the entire Bible), and Daniel 7:9.
