In The Wake Of The Insidious Do-Does-Did
Even the most beautiful poem on the 'net or the grid
is ruined by the infiltration of the insidious Do-Does-Did.
The temptation to try to make a strong verb stronger
by using the Do-Does-Did is always wrong, and wronger.
A travesty of verse it does make.
So this advice, please do take.
Such lame attempts at poetry did sound fake.
