Caiphas And Annas Stroll Through Laramie, Wyoming

"First, you must strive to impugn the character of your victim---

before the assault, if possible, but, if not, definitely after his death.

"Next, find some way to suggest that the victim's behavior brought

the assault upon himself.  This makes him somewhat responsible

for the horrific effects that follow.

"Finally, rename the roads.  Remove the barbed wire on which he

was suspended.  The ground on which he suffered has been

sanctified as a place where his blood cries to God.  You cannot

unsanctify that soil where his blood has fallen:  his blood is more

powerful than you know because it bears witness against you

before the face of God Himself.  Build no monument to him.

Prevent mourners from erecting a memorial, even the most

makeshift.

"No sunlight or rain, no change of season, not even a scorching

or sowing with salt can silence the blood on that soil---his blood---

that will cry to God against you, and will bear witness against you,

today and until the Day of Reckoning."

Author's Notes/Comments:

In Luke 10, Jesus declares that certain cities will be judged.  I pray that Laramie, Wyoming, is among them.
