At Roland Freisler's Arrival In Hell

In Hell, each person sent there has believed

that he or she must be the only one

confined; this crushing sense of isolation

is part of the enflaming agony

imposed, in Hell, on human perfidy.

Your unrepenting entrance to damnation

is quite appropriate, and has not grieved

the living.  Even those tormented there

would---had they known of your arrival---be . . .

if not thankful, at least largely relieved

that they need not suffer your company;

for that would be more than those souls can bear

and God's Justice is always---always!---fair.

Roland, your screams commence---immediately.
