Melodies XLIX; Epigram After One Of J. V. Cunningham's

Arms and the man I sing, who, with his two,

Author's Notes/Comments:

The first line quotes the first line of Vergil's epic poem, The Aeneid, as did J. V. Cunningham in his famous couplet about an adolescent boy's coming of age.
