Good King Wenceslas Looked Out On The Feast Of Stephen

"Good King Wenceslas looked out . . . on the Feast of Stephen . . . .

By three days, that feast shall precede

the twenty-ninth; and the resentment I bear---not even

worth the effort any longer

I shalll concede:

such extension,

written out of contention,

makes right credibility only seem wronger.

And this I must offer by anticipation

during this July week's significant celebration.

I have also tried to remove from my poems any of those that might be subject to misinterpretation.  Sometimes even fictions can be a bit too close to the fact.
