I shall worship with you, while we live, in the fast

of the downhome thinness you have loved from your past,

from those who have turned away from the feast

to grasp at the plainness and complaints of the least.

But this wrong choice will only linger and last

temporarily

and all of Eternity

will raise a great jubilation

according to the Liturgy

described by Saint John

in the book of Revelation.

This is a dearth the rest of my life can bear.

But I seek the spiritual fruits, not the hayseeds', in my daily prayer.
