Sooner And Later, Near And Far
The event happened sooner and later;
it happened both near and far,
like a grasping crush upon time and space
in the eerie vicinity
of a neutron star.
Steeped in perfidy,
his casual blasphemy
against all that was sacred,
refusing Christ and Love's offered Grace
thus, all of the prejudiced hatred
that his grim life had enacted
was gathered and compacted'
along with all the spiritual debris
that his existence had attracted.
This gravitational compression
occurs in an eternal session;
the heat from this instant ignition
became the terror and agony
that is the very definition
of well deserved and endless perdition.
