I think of the Blessed Virgin's Son, and of His quiet birth

as He became incarnate among us on earth;

but destined, from Eternity, and His first breath

of this world's air, to suffer Crucifixion's death;

to give believing multitudes a sure Salvation;

redeeming them from well deserved, hellfired damnation;

and to eternity in endless jubilation

praising His Glory in their souls' great exultation.
